The latest trend in beauty and hygiene is charcoal products, but are they really doing what they say they are?!

I could go on and on about the endless list of charcoal products that have been released this past year, but in this particular article i’d like to focus on charcoal toothpaste. Have any of you used it before? What were your thoughts? What brand did you use? Share your thoughts below in the comment section!

Charcoal Toothpaste

Since beginning the use of charcoal toothpaste I have noticed a difference in my teeth. I’m an avid coffee drinker, and as you know, coffee can really stain your teeth, especially if you drink it black! On top of that, there are tons of different drinks and foods that continuously create a battle between the white teeth we desire and the menacing attributes trying to take that away. Charcoal toothpaste helps us in that battle, by actually cleaning and lifting stains off our teeth. Just in the last few months of using it and trying it out, I have literally noticed my teeth get a little whiter each week. Actually, if you haven’t used it yet, I recommend taking before pictures so you can really compare the differences each week/month. You will be happily surprised within a few days of using it because you will notice a little difference right away.

Hello                                                                         Lush Cosmetics

Certain companies also claim that activated charcoal can freshen your breath and remove plaque, among other things. Be aware though, that this isn’t the same stuff that you would throw on the “barbie.”  Activated charcoal is a little different, as it has oxygen added into it, which helps it remove toxins and chemicals, which is exactly why it is used for so many things these days. In the end, activated charcoal does work and I do recommend it for anyone who wants a few extra shades of white. If you use it after reading this article, let us know how it worked in the comments section below. We would all love to hear your personal story and thoughts about it! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
