
From engaging up-and-coming actors and musicians to fashion’s most iconic image-makers, Jamie has developed a devoted clientele who repeated request her for personal appearances and on-camera events. Her quick rise as an in-demand talent reflects her unique ability to create looks that are as flawless on the red carpet as they are on the printed page.
Originally from Maryland, Jamie developed an interest in photography, painting and filmmaking at a young age, and studied them in college. From an equally early age, Jamie developed an affinity for makeup. She began to focus more and more on her makeup talent after a film professor asked her to be the makeup artist for a film he was directing. After graduation, Jamie sought out ways to make her lifelong passion into a career, beginning as a freelance makeup artist in television. From there, she began assisting legendary makeup artists including Monika Blunder, Pati Dubroff. Stephane Marais, and Jillian Dempsey.
Her career quickly took off, and Jamie was soon being requested by photographers including Norman jean Roy, Sheryl Nields and Danielle Levitt, working on editorials for Allure, Elle, Lucky, Harper’s Bazaar and L’Uomo Vogue, among others. With her easy, energetic personality and intense focus, she also began to develop strong relationships with young celebrity clients including Katherine McPhee, Chris Colfer, Becki Newton…
As an artist, Jamie is constantly searching for new inspiration–her influences range from the painter Mark Rothko to the filmmaker Michel Gondry. Eternally excited and ready for new challenges, Jamie brings a warmth and vitality to every assignment, and enhances each of her clients with her playful and optimistic sense of beauty.
